Hi! I'm Jane
As a long-term meditator, spiritual seeker, and yoga teacher, I have spent much of my life exploring the connections between mind, body, and spirit. Growing up, I was surrounded by creativity, making art around the kitchen table with my mother and her artist friends. During challenging times as an adult, I naturally returned to art classes, finding solace and
healing through creative expression. This deep-rooted love for art and its therapeutic potential has inspired me to share the power of art and healing with others.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist, I
invite people to use art materials and processes to enjoy life as well as to externalize their problems, offering them a broader perspective. I also incorporate expressive techniques
to help individuals build on their strengths, discover deeper meaning, and reignite passion in their lives. My practice spans all ages, with a specialization in EMDR, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, and Expressive Arts Therapy.
Before transitioning to the mental health field, I worked as
a Survey Statistician at the U.S. Census Bureau’s Fertility and Family Statistics branch, authoring reports on child well-being, fertility, grandparents, and women’s participation in public assistance programs. Throughout this time, I also served as a yoga and meditation teacher for many years, continuing to nurture my passion for holistic well-being.

We feel it is important that everyone receives special attention; therefore, all classes are typically kept to a maximum of 10 students.

What do I wear?
The classes tend to get messy and could result in paint or other damage to personal items or clothing. Therefore, students are strongly encouraged to wear old clothes. We are not responsible for any damages.
What if a class is canceled?
In the rare case that a class may be canceled, you will be notified as soon as possible, and your class will be rescheduled.
